Assassins creed Odyssey trainer vanishin

    Hi, I have been having this issue for over 3 months the Trainer for Assassins creed odyssey keeps vanishing from my Desktop the read me file with all the info for the Trainer never vanishes only the Trainer,
    I have searched my PC uphill and down dale with no luck at finding the Trainer the search brings up the above read me file with which numbers and so on, has anybody got any ideas? I have been playing the game with the Trainer and all has been good last night logged off this afternoon NO Trainer, so again I will download the Trainer again from here. an afterthought my trash bin is empty.
    SO VERY SORRY. The update I have found and cannot be uninstalled is KB 2267602 is for Windows Defender which was installed on my pc the 3/5/20 yesterday so god knows how I can remove it.

    Sounds like some AV might be removing it when it scans your computer maybe at every startup.

    Thanks for the reply, Now when I try and download the trainer it says Failed -Virus detected now I have windows defender turned off and still get aco-mirraluka b65...zip Failed -Virus Detected, yesterday looking at updates damn Microsoft updated with this download as follows security intelligence update (KB4524570) so I will try and uninstall this update but Microsoft is making it damn harder and harder for people to control their PC or Laptop also there is a 2020 cumaltive update for Windows 10 version 1909 for 64 based systems KB4550945 so heavens know what I can do I am at a total loss.

    Hi to one and all including the Top Brass and Trainer makers, as a full yearly paying member I expected better support for some reason better known to the people that know why I am a Black sheep to CHU, after 14 years of full yearly paying membership I expected better.

    I posted a problem on May the 4th 20 that I was having from the Trainer for Assassins Creed Odyssey I got one short reply check my AV, well I only use windows Defender so that was not the problem what I do not understand is with so many experts in CHU (NO SARCASM INTENDED) nobody seems to care or even help with other suggestions regarding my problem and that is my reason that I have not been on the CHU website of late, in the past I have had a rocky membership since President Trump was elected Have we got Lefties in the woodwork that is giving me a hard time or I should say has given me a hard time in the past.

    For me I cannot enjoy my gaming without the Trainers from CHU I have tried to make things right in the Background of CHU but obviously that has not helped my situation I wish someone would just come clean and make my problem go away.

    we are all humans here, none of us have any AI so we sometimes can miss a post as there are so many. trainer issues are suppose to go into the trainers boards, so thats usually where we look, you could also have made a support ticket to track your issue which i suggest you do now. Link

    Thank you Dragonsryder:-) I would like to Apologise profoundly for my rant and having a go, I have been so frustrated I cannot live without CHU and I sincerely RESPERCT the whole of the Top Brass and all staff who work their fingers to the bone, I have always said in the past how much I appreciate CHU people and Chris O'Rourke Nevermore , and Cal so now my rant is over I am in the process of my new PC nect Thursday and looking forward my issue will be solved.

    Thank you again Dragonstryder, Yes I should have gone to support which is a great tool from CHU ok so looking forward i will now enjoy CHU that is worth every penny or Cent which I have said so in the past.

    I was just searching for an update to the Odyssey trainer for an issue I'm having when the search pulled up yours...

    IF you have not resolved this yet.

    Windows Defender COULD be the culprit, I've had it remove several trainers from CH. About once a month or so for those specific trainers I have to go manually fix it.

    If you are using windows 10:
    go to windows security settings and OPEN windows security
    Select "Protection History", look there for your missing file.
    You will have to click on each thing in the list to see the info (like file name) as the list only tells you the date of removal.

    IF you find your missing file at the bottom of the expanded box select:
    action -> Allow - and that should fix the problem of Windows Defender removing the file.

    Hope this helps, now off to continue my search for info about the problem I'm having with the trainer.
