Epic game detected as Steam version?????

Trainer claims I'm running a Steam game and that the trainer is for the Epic version.

So whenever I try to enable an option, it just says "Failed" with red text in the debug screen.

Satisfactory is NOT on Steam yet (Expected in May), so why is the Trainer saying it's a Steam game? (I don't even have Steam running).

make sure you run the base game and not the experimental version of the game.
