Every game tends to have a max attribute and skill number before you accidentally crash your game or go Y2K and it reverts. So does anybody know the 1. Max number you can edit your individual attributes up to? 2. Max number you can edit your individual skills up to?

Attributes such as Vigor, Charm etc are capped at 10, skills shouldn't be set above 300 or 400.

after experimenting you can edit your attributes to be higher than 10, but be careful with this. The highest they will go is 100 but if you do this, your skills will go to 1023 and if your skills go above 1000 your save will be corrupted.
A good middle ground I've found is setting attributes to 50 that way with maximum focus your skills cap out at 890, still overpowered as hell especially if you use the exp multiplier to get there super quickly, but it won't corrupt your save (at least it hasn't with me).

so this is how i found this to work

my skills are all 900 and game works fine, but dont set the attributes themselves, set the XP for each, then level up each point and it will set to the correct level, pick about 80 million XP for each skill

this way you can set the perks and it actually saves them when you hit enter.

if you set only the skill number and not XP, it will not let you pick perks for them after you hit save it just reverts

TLDR -- dont set skill level, instead set the XP for each to a max of 80 million wouldnt go more than that, then level each once and it will set the correct level without breaking your save or the perks


it you have a corrupt save that crashes when you load because you set it too high, one thing i found that works is load int othe game, hit new game.. then once new game screen loads, back out of that to main menu then load your game. worked for me for whatever reason. Then you can fix your stats

Attributes go high as 10. Skills only go as high as 330 natively, if the skill has 5 focus points.

with 50 attr, you'll need 10920000.00 exp to get 280 in each skill, just use each skill a couple of time to lvl to 281 to max out perks.

I got to 10 and for perks 999. Editing the files, but the 999 holds, as well as disabling the selection of perks when need to choose, so my modded hero has 10's and 999 value, with all perks enabled, even the ones that exclude each other. Level cap is 84.

Peter how do you edit the files to choose every perk?
