    1. Make sure Cosmos is closed
    2. Open "Settings.xml" inside Cosmos folders with a text editor
    3. Change the following line (ignore spaces):
    < AutoInjectMono>true< /AutoInjectMono>
    to
    < AutoInjectMono>false< /AutoInjectMono>
    4. Save and start Cosmos

I hope this isnt going to present challenges to the CH team.

I wonder if this is an anti-cheat mechanic from Taleworld...?

No. Cosmos (and CE) are detecting this game as a Unity Engine game which it isn't. As soon as both memory hacking tools trying to enable unity engine functions by calling native mono functions, the game crashes. This is because the mono functions it called are not initiated by the game (but loaded in memory).

Cosmos enable these unity functions by default. CE does not, unless you enable them yourself. I've posted a workaround in this thread to disable it on Cosmos as well.

CE works for me as well. Seems like an issue with COSMOS or M&B.

Thanks for the heads up on CE working!

    For Cosmos, in file:

    Settings.xml

    find:

    true

    and set to:

    false

Do not try to use mono in CE or Cosmos it will crash the game.

    best,

I have the same problem but with a different game, Valheim.
The game just crashes when i attach CoSMOS to it.
I tried version 6.0.6 and 6.0.8 with both advanced and beginner version.
Other tools work fine for the game.

    It's a Unity game if that matters.🙁

Add cosmos to your security software exclusions. May need to disable windows defender anti-tamper.
