I can't get through a locked door that requires me to use a pack. But, I'm not being prompted to use it.
I'd post my save where I'm at. I just can't seem to find the save location.

Happened to me in the sewers. Simply disable Super Eye, walk away, as in go down the ladder, come back, should be allowed to click and use the pack.
So, I just have one question about the Complete Challenges option.
Does using the option also give you the proper Shop points?
I have no idea what shop points are or where to use them or even how to know if I have them or where they are visually noted.
It might be nice to have a save if this is like 10 hours into the game or something.
I would also need to know where saves go, etc.

Here's my clear game file.
On the main menu you'll notice there's a new entry under [Bonus] called [Shop].
When you clear the Challenges you get a set amount of points per challenge to spend in that shop, and buy cheats, unlocks and extra features.
The savedir is Steam/userdata/yourID/952060
All the challenges are cleared on my game and there is no SHOP entry. Maybe because all the unlocks are unlocked already.
I will take a look to see what I can find out.

bummer.. saves are not shareable.
I did find if you turn STEAM off, then delete your saves, that when you start over then your records reset, if someone wants to reset after using our option.
I have no ability to quickly open the shop. I never earned any points. while playing

How did you manage to puke up the egg? My game wouldnt let me do so.
I had a mixed green herb x 2 already in my inventory and I used it before I went into the switch room/ nest to puke it up.
Also, down in the sewers I had an instance of the issue reported above where I was not able to interact with anything. But this was AFTER I tried loading a save with the trainer already active. I had to alt+F4 to quit the game and I noticed the trainer had closed itself, so I had to open the trainer, launch the game, press F1 to activate the trainer, then press 2 and 4 on the num pad to active the invulnerability and ammo cheats.
I was able to make it all the way to the 3rd act, where you get to the hospital.
