there is a post about this already. it's because you did something like add tokens or something that the game is scripted to check for. In other words you broke the script by adding something that you shouldn't have yet.

I believe someone even posted a solution here.

I had the same issue. Restarted and moved past the Punish demons in the Prison. Then the next level. I used the normal cheats but none of the editor options and it worked fine. Has to do with you getting pointed to a suit point collection after clearing the prison. After that you get a demo on suit upgrades ...etc. Then you should be good to use the editor options.

It won't run, says I have to install a newer version of .net core.
Iv'e installed 3.1 and 5.0 , keep getting the error.
I've ran as admin, not as admin, doesn't matter :/

It can happen without the trainer, too. If you explore and do things out of order, the games script can get borked and still not open mission3 for you. Happened to me before I ever grabbed the trainer. There are other bugs in the game, too. Like one area where I just could not grab a wall. Even used the double jump cheat to make sure I was high enough and I just could not grab that wall. Only one in the game the Doom Slayer would not grab (it was in mission 3 where you have to shoot a activator that opens a gate to allow you to jump and speed dash to get to the next level - there's two elevators on either side of a door that take you to the next level once you grab that wall and can jump to get inside them).

So, don't assume it's a trainer issue. There are some minor gameplay kinks that need patching in the game. So far the trainer has worked flawlessly for me. No crashes or framerate issues at 1440p max settings with HDR on and dynamic res off.

Anyone else having issues trying to play OG Doom 1&2 on the collectors computer in the fortress of doom? Anytime I select either game, D.E. crashes to desktop, yay.

Yeah everyone has this problem. It's something the game devs needs to fix.
Apparently this works on consoles, but not on PC.
