Hi guys. The first Expansion (Ancient Gods Part 1) drops in a few days on 10/20. I have read online that you don't need the base game to be able to play it. I am not sure how this will work, as in if current Trainer may need to be updated, or if an entirely new Trainer may be needed. What do you guys think? I didn't see anything Doom Eternal related on Requests page. Thoughts appreciated
Stand-alone's usually get their own trainer. Best to request it as it's own trainer. Then everybody can use it whether they own both or not.

I was unable to put in a request for a Trainer for DE Ancient Gods Part 1. On the request form page under "Game Title", it did not come up as a selectable game. Thoughts and help appreciated 🙂
According to an article on techraptor.net it was delisted on Steam.

Year one pass DLC was de-listed but is still coming out as a stand alone, just not sure for what platform now that Microsoft owns Bethesda or under what name. I'll dig a lil' deeper later if I have the time.
All I can find is this for a purchase page (still under DOOM ETERNAL: YEAR ONE PASS DLC) , maybe they will rename it. Guess we'll find out in 2 days.

Hey. I recently was able to install the "Ancient Gods Part 1" on Steam. I purchased the Year One Pass DLC and for me, it just updated the Doom Eternal install I already had, was about a 10GB download. The "Ancient Gods" DLC is accessible through Main Menu in Doom Eternal. Have not tried the Trainer yet, but my guess is that it may need to be updated. Hope this info helps you guys 🙂
