This is our first LINUX based game trainer and is being used as a proof of concept tech demo to show that trainers for Linux are possible and we have the capability of producing them. We limited this trainer to 1 option for this reason. We want to gauge the interest from the Linux community if we should begin releasing more Linux based trainers or if there is just not enough people interested to pursue it further. Please post here your thoughts and/or issues.
With Linux it's a never ending story. People said they would switch to Linux instantly when it would support gaming. Now it does and people don't switch. However thanks to big companies the strict borders are going to vanish. Vulcan is a powerful DirectX replacement and Microsoft embedded a Linux kernel into Windows 10 and with more and more programming languages become cross platform compatible we gave it a try. Now with all the games exist thanks to Steam and we having a Cosmos (Linux) version and a Linux trainer engine, it is up to the Linux users out there to let us know if we should spend more resources on it or not.
Like PWizard said, proof of concept.
You say "now it does" in terms of gaming on Linux. No
There are more and more options and support for gaming on Linux but it's not ready. It's improved so much in the last few years alone. Sadly not enough. I am someone who buys pretty much all new AAA games on release day. About 90% of those don't come to Linux or take a year or more to do so.
Until that happens, Linux is not ready. I love the support in trainers though.
Sidenote, I haven't checked into the Linux Gaming scene for about 6 months, so sorry if something massive has happened to change how games work on Linux. Proton was the last big thing but doesn't really solve my issue, but it was a huge step forward.
