    Hello.
I'm wondering if anyone here received a game ban on steam using CH trainers?
I know the classic response "always be cautious and play offline and at your own risk..yada yada.."
And I also know the big difference between game ban and a VAC ban or a trade ban on steam, but there are games like Shadow of War that is a singleplayer game with just a minor online element like leaderboards and it's frustaiting to play offline just for the slightest chance of a game ban.
I also found people having problems because of trainers, they used the trainers for weeks to make the game easier, but just the "Infinite Ammo" for example, once they used the "EXP" to gain a bigger level it was like the anti-cheat suddenly woke up.
I always asked on their forum and WB moderatos ignored me, Activision did the same for their games...
So, is there someone that has a game ban and wants to share the story with us?

I used many many trainers without issues so far. You can check my Steam if you want. In my opinion, as far as you don't try to use the trainers online, you won't get banned for anything you might do in your single player game.

I want to reinforce what Vakmix wrote and add: yes you will be safe 99.9% of the times you'll cheat only in single player mode but there are very few games that will ban you if you use the trainer in single player mode unwisely.
Like Forza games for example, you can run wild with most of the trainer options and you'll be fine but as soon as you'll use the credits option with exaggeration you might get a ban.
Never the less in any of those "special" there are clear warnings and instructions so make sure you read the trainer notes before using a trainer.

The only ban I had when using one of CH's trainers was with COD Black Ops 2
on Zombies. I played the game on solo for singleplayer, not multiplayer, used
the trainer...and after a minute into playing Zombies mode, the game crashes
to desktop. then when I started up again, it tells me I'm banned from playing
zombies. I asked my brother to look into it with Steam, I even admitted to steam
that I was cheating but in singleplayer only, and Steam don't care about cheating
in singleplayer games, just multiplayer...then Steam disclosed that it was Treyarch
that banned me, the dev team behind the COD Black Ops games.

But as for every other game I've cheated with, I've had no other bans.

Yea, COD is a good example for banning people for anything remotely suspected as a cheat, no matter if it's just for singleplayer, or even offline singleplayer..
Or like Forza, everything is nice until you use the cash option.
I think there are more "uniq" games like those that people had problems with.

I've been a Lifetime Member of Cheat Happens for I think about 4 years now. I've used trainers and cheats for hundreds of different games and I have never been banned for using them. There have been a few games that I was worried about. The Ghost Recon "Open World" series (Breakpoint and Wildlands) kind of worried me a little. Many of the guns, outfits, and armor that is available in the 2 games through a "pay-2-play" type of system may be easily obtained by using the CH trainer (extra game currency, skill points, XP). The fact that you can do that scared me. All of those boons are however negated in multiplayer. I assume that is why the CH trainer is legit. It would be a different story if the advantage was carried over in multiplayer. I believe that is why a trainer isn't available for The Division games. Because of my busy work schedule I don't have the time to do a lot of the insane grinding that a lot of single player games require these days. CH lets me cut those grind times in half, allowing me to be able to actually fully finish a game and all of its DLC so that I can move on to the next great game. Some gamers can juggle and play multiple games at a time. I can't, my work schedule just doesn't allow it. I need CH. If not for CH there is no way in hell I would have ever been able to experience all of The Witcher 3 and its DLC! I'd probably still be stuck in The Isle of Mists! CH is a good thing and I'm glad they're around! So I would like to actually take this moment to give THANKS and RESPECT to Cheat Happens and their team of coders for all of their hard work. Coding isn't easy and staying on top of every game I bet is definitely not easy... So from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU CHEAT HAPPENS !!!

I have been using CH since early 2k's (I was under a different name...but went off on a drunk rant few years ago and got my account CH banned) Thankfully, they allowed me to come back under a new account.

Anyhow, I have never been banned for using CH in SP mode. THAT BEING SAID; I would pay very special attention in games that are using Battleeye and Easy Anti Cheat. I know that most games that use that are for multiplayer but sometimes EAC turns on for single player. The EAC bans are based off EAC servers and not stored at the game creator and game creator has no say in the EAC ban. Also, the EAC ban is hardware wide, they take snapshot of your hardware so any other game that uses EAC that is ran on your pc will get a ban. Basically one EAC ban bans all other games that use EAC...and yes EAC is prone to false positives.

Using CH trainers for years on steam, origin, GOG, etc. As long as you are using it as they intend you should not receive any bans. Most of, if not all the time the CH team will make it clear when to use & not use the trainers.
