I can confirm that the Easy Monster Kill option does not appear to be working properly on large monsters. Easy Break Part works as expected, breaking monster parts within a few hits as long as conditions are met for the part to break (Such as Glavenus's tail only severing when it's red hot).
Not 100% sure what Easy Wound is doing, I'm testing it out now.
Edit: Double-checking something right now. Had both Easy Wound and Easy Kill options active, and a large monster died in three or four hits.
Edit 2: Attacked a monster with Easy Wound active. The monster died in three to four hits. Easy Kill was turned off. Going to try with Easy Kill on and Easy Wound off.
Edit 3: With Easy Kill on and Easy Wound off, monster appears to be taking normal damage. Thus, I'm forced to conclude that Easy Kill is not working as expected. All other tested options appear to be working as intended.
Edit 4: With Easy Kill still turned on, monster fled to a new area. Chased it, hit it with the Clutch Claw, and it died. 🤔
Edit 5: It seems that Easy Kill only works with Clutch Claw hits now, for some reason.

instructions clearly state that having easy wound on, then easy kill won't work.
easy kill sets the monster health to 0 during check of attack function, then subtracts whatever damage you did from that.
easy wound, you can set the value that the trainer writes, as the instructions say. Right now the value is 25.
if the attack function isn't called like maybe the monster dodged, armor blocked, etc, I have no idea, then maybe doesn't happen 100 percent.
easy kill was tested using crossbow and sling, never tried clutch claw.
If easy kill isn't helpful, let me know and I will remove it. I dont plan to update the trainer to make damage checks on the 100 different functions for weapons types or possible mods.

Cal
May I ask where the instructions are?
As it stands, I've been using the readme file that's beside the download button, but there's no information in that file on how X option works; It's got details on what hotkey is default set for what option, and instructions for how to get the trainer working, plus the normal troubleshooting and verification paragraphs at the bottom.
Link is the readme file I currently have open in a separate tab.
Thanks!
@timmage
For the MHW trainer you can find what each options does in 2 places as of now. It doesn't show the trainer options in the readme file the trainer download's with. Once you open the trainer it self (as in run the trainer) you can see yellow exclamation marks next to the trainer options. If you mouse over them, it will show you what each of those options does. Another place is when you open the trainer (run it) you can find a Readme tab right under the Editor tab. You can find the info there also.
@Caliber
Please don't remove easy kill or any of the options we have right now. I am sure that everyone else also find this option very useful. It doesn't matter to me what i instantly kill the monsters with. If its my weapon or the slinger. So thank you for bringing back this option for MHW 🙂 I also love the unlimited cloak, easy partbreak (basically everything) that you put in this trainer. Thank you again
@other MHW users,
I noticed how the trainer keeps getting back into the "trainer update list". If you are having issues with the Easy kill option, it works with the slinger.
Thanks for the information! I didn't realize that the readme in the trainer would be different than the one available online, so that's my bad.
@caliber
No need to remove any of the options, I was just confused that my normal attacks didn't seem to be activating the easy kill scripting. Knowing that the slinger/clutch claw attacks run the script clears up any confusion I had
Any admin/Dev can do teamviewer for me and help troubleshoot pls? i really want this to work. Thx.
you may have to contact 0x90 with PM directly

Am I just doing it wrong or does the easy kill monster option not work?
In the MHW trainer it simply one shot enemies, what does it do now?
I don’t care about the quests, just want to rush to end-game as I’ve already played the campaign on PS4.
Thank you and I hope it’s OK I’m asking this, the rest of the trainer works well for me.
we literally posted about this like 2 posts above yours..
sigh

mouse over that and read

what bypass are you talking about?
i keep seeing that the bypass suppose to come with the trainer, where the hell is it?
[Edited by pizza9game, 1/14/2020 9:54:19 AM]
It's in a separate archive inside the main trainer archive. If you're not seeing it then your AV or something is blocking it.
