Question about redeeming gift card? on Feedback, Complaints or Problems Message Board - Page 1

There isn't a problem, just a question after the giveaway is done.
I cashed in some points at the RC store for a $20 steam card. I got an email that the ticket was created on Christmas eve. I knew you guys are busy but was I supposed to reply to the email?

I replied to the email yesterday since I wasn't sure if I was supposed to or not. But I wasn't sure how to do it.
Since when I redeemed it all it said was that it would take 3 days or something like that. But I can't go back and recheck what it says word for word.

Edit: Just wanted to make sure I'm not doing anything wrong.

Yeah I've been busy so I haven't edited the post sorry.
I just asked since I wasn't sure if responding to the email was the correct course of action.
