The game version I have is Remnant: From the Ashes 220.617S. The available version for the game I am interested in is Remnant: From the Ashes Trainer 218.787_PO. Will the two different version work?

No reports for updating this title so yes it will work as long as you have the latest steam version it will work with the latest trainer. Once the game gets update that will no longer work with the latest trainer people will file a report and the trainer gets update as well.
