MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries Message Board  

HI all I needs some assistance with the edit funding. I follow the instructions to a "T" but it doesnt work. Now in the game im at the point where I can start purchasing stuff. Is it too early in the game to do that or am I doing something wrong?

Maybe try buying/selling something first, then go into your "money screen" (not a store) make sure the value filled in matches what you currently have and then edit it. If that fails try it in the actual store/purchase screen.

After playing for the last 8 days i can confirm that the infinite armor does not apply to the back armor. it works just fine on the front but back of the mech can still be destroyed.

Delete trainer and all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again. May also need to run the game without the trainer first and play a bit so the save file gets updated to use possible new values.

If still not working

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Provide platform used as well. (epic/windows)

I tried to post that the trainer needed an update but i couldnt due to the limited options. the game is now on steam and it only let me choose epic, windows or xbox game pass as options for reporting an update. Do we know if we are working on steam version?

To submit a request for a new distribution platform, please use our trainer requests system. Once at least 5 people request the same distribution, it will be available for funding. Please do NOT use the trainer option request system to request new platforms as they will be denied. Premium members at any level may request a new distribution as long as it’s done through the normal request system.

Has anyone yet tried the current trainers if they work with the steam version?

Well, my Lifetime+ had expired. Otherwise, I'd happily make the request. If the trainer is stated to work only on certain platforms, I'd say it's limited to the stated platforms only.
