Are you running a trainer you downloaded and it prompts the CHEATHAPPENS splashscreen, then suddenly

Same issue for me. No matter what trainer. They all no longer work...

Have both 3.1 and latest .NET CORE and FRAMEWORK

.NET Core 3.1 Desktop Runtime x86 Link
.NET Core 3.1 Desktop Runtime x64 Link
.NET Core Current Runtime x86 Link
.NET Core Current Runtime x64 Link
.NET Framework (get latest) Link

(Both of the Net-Core MUST be installed x86 and x64)

and REBOOT THE PC! If the still don't work it may be a security software issue.

Thats what i did before. Sadly to no success. As of this post for some reason its working. IDK anymore.

This fixed my problem but now I have a new one. The trainer will open but it won't find the game. I didn't change anything else and they worked before. I re-did all the stuff in the standard troubleshooting thread and nothing worked.

Edit: Actually some others work. Elek does but Greedfall doesn't.

What game/trainer?

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE REBOOTED PC AFTER ANY .NET CORE OR FRAMEWORK INSTALLATIONS.

Might be updated security software definitions.

Extract trainer and make sure trainer/launcher/editor is in a folder excluded from virus scans. Empty quarantine folder if needed or set anything trainer related (paths and EXE's) to ALLOW. Disable any Live/Active/Real-Time tools which may trigger false positives in security software which may terminate the game/trainer when it's activated or options used.

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens

may need to be added to exclusions as well. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again.

Once again. ALL OF MY PROBLEMS went away regarding trainers closing once I got rid of Webroot. I got Eset nod32 (which is awesome). And no problems with things closing. Including closing when another memory editor is open along side a trainer. It was all webroot, all the time! Seriously, screw webroot!
