I confirmed with the dev that the hull and shields options do not work on legendary. Instead of cheesing for this part, I just looked up the legendary guides on youtube and easily completed this section of the mission

They worked fine in the first trainer, at least when I tested on WinStore version but on Steam I found I was dying from some elites.

I think this is happening for me, have you experienced this in other parts of the game?

Well it happened on the first mission for me with the Steam version - dying (I have both Steam & Game Pass version) but on the game pass version when I did the first mission on legendary it was fine and I didn't die at all.

A couple of the things that will kill you even when your using the cheats is going out of bounds of course, but the bigger problem is the physics, such as vehicles or random objects hitting you at a certain rate of speed will kill you instantly. So watch out for vehicles and be mindful of objects in your surroundings that might fly thru the air from an explosion and hit and kill you.

The first trainer didn't even have sabre options

Strange though that the options that are best suited for the higher difficulties doesn't work on those difficulties. I wonder if this was done on purpose in some way or if it really is as it seems, which is that it's broken.
