Feedback, Complaints or Problems

I've used various trainers; some even today, which have had no issues.
I am only experiencing an issue with the FFXV trainers. I even tried downloading older version(s) of it, but the same issue persists.
I have gone through various troubleshooting options, and have no idea how to proceed with it.
My Windows 10 is only 2 days old, as I had to wipe and re-install everything. All drivers are up to date.

is this when you run it?

That code seems to correspond to the joystick collection area. Does the error still occur if you don't use joystick (if you have one plugged in).

Not having others report this, so kind of strange.

This is the bit that sticks out to me.

Are you absolutely positive that all Windows updates have been installed?

Make sure Windows Store app is up to date and right click your Final Fantasy XV tile > More > App Settings > and there should be an option that says "Repair".

Also make sure you turn off DEP.

That would be my suggestions. I'm downloading FFXV now as I was going to finish it off anyway but it'll take a day to download of course, i'll see if I have any problems with the trainer tomorrow.

Hi Cal,
This is when I launch the FFXV trainer. It seems to only happen with this trainer, and I have no joystick.
I forgot to add the part where originally I was getting prompted that I have no soundcard, or that the Trainer should not find one; however, all my other trainers work fine, and today it just opens the CheatHappens logo, and then does nothing - but again, all other trainers work fine. Kind of bizarre.

I've checked that there are no further updates, and I myself have also applied every other Windows 10 update I could get my hands on, so from this, I don't believe there are other updates ready to be applied as of yet.
As for DEP; I've disabled that now. I'll also verify the integrity of the files for FFXV, but I don't see that being too much of an issue as the game runs fine itself.

Can you find anything relevant in Event Viewer? Particularly events in the 1000+ range?

I've had a look, and there seems to be nothing relative to the trainer or the game in the Event Viewer. Even had event viewer open and ran the trainer, nothing appeared in any logs.

this is just you running the trainer, correct?

Or is it when you do something specific?

This may be one of those things where we just may never know, since I cannot replicate the issue here.
