Need for Speed Heat Message Board  

1) be OFFLINE.. like switch off the internet offline
2) you have to change the value in the trainer then press TAB to lock it in.
3) BUY SOMETHING FREE and the money changes. You can then buy whatever you want while OFFLINE.
4) when you GO BACK ONLINE the money you have ONLINE ON SERVER changes BACK. Nothing can be done about this. It's on A SERVER.

Thanks PW. I was going nuts, I was sure I followed instructions to the letter, but it said nowhere to be offline... 🙂

Buy a couple of expensive cars, and sell them once you are back online. 🙂
At least that's what I did before without a problem.

UPDATE:
I did this and it worked like a charm!

Start game, activate trainer, unplug internet, use the trainer as directed, set money (I set 99'000'000), then start a race, plug the internet, win the race, get the money and it actually sets to the edited amount and stays there permanent! (permanent but then you spend it normally...)

it didn't work for me...after I logged off and logged back on the money was gone.

will you have to repost the amount every time you log into the game offline?

Hi PWizard,
Do I really need to sever the internet connection or does going offline in Origin also work?
I see there are some update reports so I'm not sure if the reason why it doesn't work is the former or the latter...
