This game, when it patches, the developers compiler creates unique code with different registers. The entire game is rewritten, therefore all of our AOB search codes are useless, our notes become fairly useless, and in essence we have to start over. Not only that, the game has anti cheats in it to contend with.
This means that this trainer may take 10 or more hours, or even longer, or in some cases may not even be updateable. At this point, I have no idea what they are doing to the game or how much more has changed from when the game first got released.
If and when we update this trainer yet again, I suggest you get some real playtime out of it, because this title is not long from being retired. THe next game in this series of definitive editions will be released soon, and we cannot keep blowing 10 hours at a time on a game like this from what would normally be simple patches.
Almost all updates deal with multiplayer, multiplayer unit balancing, and online issues or gameplay, or anti cheats.
You been warned. This game is on the short list to be retired.
best,
Cal
Somebody said that you can go to the game main folder and rename "BattleServer" to something else to disable anticheats and be able to use the trainer

IF you mean Age of Empires 3 Definitive Edition, yes, has already been released.
And I think you are right with what you said about invest many hours into AoE 2.
Even if you retire, AoE 2 is and always will be the most played AoE part.
The most Requested Trainer for AoE will stay AoE 2.
Just recently, they announced a new huge Title-Update. Lords of The West.
store.steampowered.com/app/1389240/Age_of_Empires_II_Definitive_Edition__Lords_of_the_West/
So, this game will be up for a long Time. There are still tournaments and championships, and even PvP-Plays.
That game is still highly requested.
I understand, if you say, it shall be retired, because It costs too much time to be updated- I really do understand - but it would make much more sense in updating the Trainers for AoE 2 than for AoE 1 or 3.
But I guess you already considered that.
Me, and I guess many others, are looking forward, what will happen to this trainer.
If you really consider retiring the Trainer, I thank you for your effort you put into this.
You did a great Job in this one - regardless if you retire it or not 😄
Hello!
For some reason when I try to start the Trainer it appears for a second in
Task Manager and then closes? I don't even see the Customization notice.
Looked in trainers trobleshooting and couldn't find any information why this happens.
Tryed another trainer(cyberpunk), it started first time? second time I get the same error.
WHat to do? Where to look?
