Still, why do you need to install that other program to make the new trainer work? Why even release this new trainer, old one works fine.
Can the Devs clear up why there is this new version and why we need to download outside programs to make it work?

the 'other program' is pre requisite files that are required for the trainer to work. Just like you have to have visual c libraries installed for 90% of games, direct X to be installed, etc.
The latest update was to fix some things that were supposedly out of whack with the readme vs the instructions on the site.
The latest .core is going to be necessary for all future trainers, so install it. It takes like 10-30 seconds and likely will be the last time you have to install a new core, at least for a good while.
Microsoft is moving .net to .net core, and it's the future for them, so don't get angry that we have to migrate right along with them, as does every software company, game company, etc. in existence that uses official Microsoft libraries, which is the majority of them.
If you play more than one game here and plan to download any trainers other than this one, you will have to install core at least once and they all will work.
.net Core is not some weird thing. If people are coding in .net or C# they are going to be using core and likely silently installing it with games and etc. It's a huge official microsoft library. The new version is out the last month so only the newest stuff that is moving towards it has made the install available. This also allows us to use the very latest libraries for increased functions, speed, abilities that it provides, giving you the best trainers we can give.
best,
Cal
Dunno if it's only me, but I've notived with every version of the trainers that some command (don't know which one yet) makes some enemies invincible? You can make headshots etc. and they will rise again.
Does anyone know which action makes this happen?
I get this too, on and off. I think it's one of the 'Unlimited Core' cheats also applying to NPCs since turning those off will then let me kill them. It doesn't seem to apply to actually hostile characters like rival gangs, only ones who are neutral before you start a fight etc. I hope this helps. (Or if you're lazy like me you can just hogtie the invincible people with the lasso to stop them attacking you 😆 )

Hahhaa! Ok thx man! Yeah, good idea. I did that once actually. Total chaos as super wanted Arthur entering Blackwater.
Why are the hotkeys not working within the game?
Only works if it goes straight to the trainer (alt + tab)
Launch the game first till you can move around, then alt tab and launch the trainer and activate it, then hotkeys work.
Thanks!

Our trainer engine need to keep track on all the new game engines, anticheats, new situations. As well as on compiler updates, new programing language features and user requested features. By example we added hardware acceleration using modern CPU features to our memory scanning feaures which increased the performance by 2x up to 8x depending your modern your CPU is. We just didn't make a big deal about that and made a note about it everywhere.
The previous trainer had TWO dependencies (.NET Framework and .NET Core). The current only has on .NET Core which is according to Microsoft the future of .NET at all. But unlike .NET Framework it doesn't come auto installed with Windows Updates so you are getting "annoyed" with install requests.
Back to the question about WHY we did that. The new trainer engine got some heavily performance improvements, only one dependency and allows you to add your own cheats by importing a Cosmos table. While for us trainer makers it contains heavily improvements to keep up with all the new situations we are dealing with. By design choice all updated trainers automatically get the newest trainer engine which PRO arguments are overwhelming the only CONS argument of having you to update a dependency when its required.
You would be wondering how many software have dependencies but most of them are just hiding these by auto installing them for you. Even most of our competitors doing this. For us, it was a design choice once again having single trainer executable and not installing anything automatically behind your back. This is not something everyone may agrees with but we just made this choice. If you have any further questions you can send me a private PM or make a new thread.
