The money option seems bugged. It can boost to max, but buying something drops cash down to $10 or less, then down to zero. I have tried selling items to max out my cash, turning off the money option, buying and selling, but it always drops back down to less than $10 or to zero. I even tried saving the game, quitting, restarting, but it does not seem to help. I did not have this problem with the first iteration of the trainer, so I am going back to that one for now.
Money option was not touched with the second trainer.
If you claim the first trainer works and the second doesn't for money, they option is literally programmed and working identical in the two trainers.

I just tried the older trainer and ran into the same problem. I sold some item at the fence in St. Denis, had $50,000+, got a carriage ride to another town, got out of the carriage with $0. The option seems to work find, up until you actually have to spend money, then it flops.

Several people have had this issue. This is what was suggested and worked for me. Turn the money option on, modify the value to your liking. Loot someone or something that gives you cash and your cash should be at that value. Now turn the money option OFF. This next part is important, before you go to buy anything, turn the unlimited/max times option OFF. For some reason it causes money to reset to like $8. I set mine to like $50,000 and was able to buy everything, so you should only have to do this once for pretty much the whole game.

I can confirm, I only use 2nd trainer and I tried the same thing. It is frustrating as all get out to max your money and then a small purchase wipes it completely out. Please fix, thanks.
No, turn off the (Use item gives max) option when making purchases. Simple. No fix needed
