Feedback, Complaints or Problems

Hello all, I am new to this trainer stuff and am having trouble figuring out how to connect the trainer to the game. I got the game through the windows/Xbox fo pc game pass, and when I try and activate it, it says to define a game path first.
I have tried going into my Windows apps folder and clicking the actual game application (not sure if this is the correct way to do it). However, I end up with a pop-up stating that "You don't have permission to open the file. Contact the file owner or an administrator to obtain permission".
Any help would be very appreciated here.

The name of the trainer and the game would help tremendously.

The Outer Worlds Trainer HF6 (10.29.2019), and the game is The Outer Worlds.

Apologies, now I cannot even find the game in my PC files. It was showing up until a few hours ago, but now the only thing I can find in my files is the trainer.

The trainer asks you to define the game path only when you click on the LAUNCH button. It shouldn't have anything to do with trainer activation at all.

For Windows Store games you cannot use the launch button. The trainer has likely not the permission to locate the game executable due to Windows Store / Game Pass folder restrictions.

So launch the game yourself and activate the trainer with F1, ignore the launch button for this specific game in your specific case.

When using the launch game from within the game trainer itself, to define the game path, you need to launch the games exe. when you get to the menu of the game hit F1 to activate the trainer and by doing so, you have now created the game path for the trainer. Exit out of the game close the trainer and restart the trainer and now you can hit the launch button from within the trainer.
