@Welce: That is not being said. Sometimes Windows Store games code is completely different than on any other platform. This makes it a pain for us to work on requests. Sometimes we need to access Windows Store game files which we cannot because MS restricted the folder access. And, before the Game Pass app, there has been a lot of issues with patching games etc. so we had to reinstall the entire games every time it has been updated which was no fun on games with 70gb size.

But other times, the Windows Store version is completely identical to the version elsewhere and making a trainer for it is the same work and porting a trainer to it is super easy.

We didn't said no to windows store version. We only said what platform we prefer to reduce the chance of running into issues for us, to the minimum. For you as a trainer consumer you can either be safe and secure and buy it from the same platform or wait and see if the trainer works and if not, fill up a request for it.

As this isn't being published by Xbox, they might just put it on as is on the Epic store. I honestly have no idea how any of this stuff works though so we'll have to wait and see. I'd have thought they'd put the stuff that makes it a pain on their major games, but it sounds like it's random.

It's on Gamepass and unlocks tonight. but still with the way the store handles permissions it's gonna be a chore just to deal with that.

Since the game is available for preload already on gamepass/windows store, wouldn't that mean that CH could already check if there are some annoyances with the exe and other game files?

Epic doesn't have it for preload if I've understood correctly. Which is unfortunate, because then CH could at least check if the game files are identical, or if they have some differences.

In any event. I'm getting Outer Worlds on gamepass. Can't beat that 1 dollar price.

That's why I said I have no idea how any of it works and what the problem is specifically. I had thought that certain games had more serious anticheat because of Xbox but I suppose the Xbox published games are just harder than the rest.

I certainly hope you can do a gamepass version. I can't stand the epic store and I refuse to do business with them. Since this game is being made by Obsidian and in UE4, we may luck out and it'll have a cheat console. Either way thanks for all you guys do, it's very much appreciated here. 🙂
