I haven't played the game. Is the honor bar something you can see ingame. Like you kill someone and a value goes down or a bar slider changed to one side or is it something you cannot see at first but notice later such as people stop talking to you.

Yeah, it changes +/- on a bar slider depending on actions you make.

It's a bar that you can visually see going up and down depending on your actions in the game. Like if you murder 1 or 2 people you'll see it go down or if you help 1 or 2 it'll go up. It's not always visible though, you really only see it once you do the action then it disappears. Hope that helps!

Even being able to lock the honor bar would be amazing.. so many things take it away in game with a lot less giving it back. Playing a good char was a pain in the butt.

Is there a reason not to make it compatible with the R* Launcher? Even if you get the game on the Launcher, Epic Games, Windows Store or Steam in December you still have to use the R* Launcher to launch the game regardless.

I see Steam has an option to "add a non steam game" but i have never used it. If we preorder the game through R* launcher would we be able to add it to steam that way and then use a steam trainer?

All non-steam game add does it allows the option of steam overlay on games/launchers that can or do allow it. It doesn't convert a game into a steam version.

Fingers crossed the R* platform is the base and EGS and Steam use the same basic files.
