Thanks for your timely response on this. It makes sense to me and being as I'm not a coder, I'll take your word for it. I did however navigate to the link you provided and it shed quite a bit of light on the problem. Guess we'll need to wait on game devs to sort things out.

Is there some kind of way to get this to work that isn't listed in the readme?

I'm getting a failure right off the bat to even start the trainer:

08:41:32: Borderlands 3, 1.0.8_CL_2173119 (STEAM/EPIC)
08:56:11: Successfully attached to Borderlands3
08:56:39: Collect Pet Health, Script error in line 21: This instruction can''t be compiled: cmp rcx,[PlayerHealthBase]

Do I have to wait until level 6 or something?

Seems to work on other classes in the beginning. Just not the guy with pets.

I really suspected this was the case. Before loot was simply tied to level, now its also tied to Mayhem level and there's a sliding scale where even at high levels, you can still get crummy loot. Thanks for the hot fix though!

I got that if I activated the trainer too quickly. If you wait until the main menu appears, you should be good.

I am still getting this when trying to start the trainer. I'm on steam.

I got it to activate by entering game and shooting my gun, it activated once i did this.

While I haven't played yet today, April 30th, there was a hotfix that rolled out for BL3. Apparently it fixes the drop rates for legendaries and legendaries with anointments in Mayhem. Hopefully this will fix the issue that some have been discussing on the message board.

Big thanks, again, to 0x90 for clarifying the real issue a couple of days ago. Let's hope the BL3 devs got it right!

I agree. From what I'm seeing now, it looks to be more consistent and more like we would expect to see.

Just updated the trainer and restarted my pc, can't get it to activate. Have alt tabbed both ways and attempted activation, run as admin etc.
