The Current XP and Current Level parameters under Editor > Progression seem to be broken if you join a game. If you host a game then they work for you just fine.
For example, if I join a game and attempt to change my level 10 character to a level 8 character by setting the Current XP field to a number that is within level 8 and then setting the Current Level field to 8, only my current XP is changed. The level over the XP bar show level 8, but if I pause the game I can see that my level is still set at 10. Then if I do anything to get experience the level over the XP bar jumps back to 10.
The weird part here is that if I do the aforementioned change and I don't do anything to get XP then I can see that my level is too low for any items that are level 10. So it seems like the trainer is attempting to set the level but the game keeps changing it back.
Any thoughts on what can be done to fix this problem?
So nothing can be done to fix this problem?
If you join a game values are no longer stored on your machine but on the host computer or server so yes, changes by the trainer have no effect or revert. But our trainer is as evrything else here on this site, not meant to be used in multiplayer.

are you asking the editor to work with games you JOINED ANOTHER SERVER ONLINE? Yeah, your data isn't on your machine, it's on someone else' machine. The trainer cannot access someone else; computer, only yours.
