I have learned from Steam forums that this game seems to have some kind of altars that give at least skill points. And there may be other items/situations that give other points. This means that the game has a value somewhere for points gained through means other than level up. Editing this value would negate all these negative point problems.

At least I'm guessing that the game works in those instances by giving a +1 point. Instead of (for example) by marking "1 altar points used". If someone plays far enough to find one of those altars, they could send a save to Cheat Happens to help with the trainer making.

Of course it's possible that only skill points have these "points not from level up" values, and studying these altar +1 points won't help at all with talents and attributes.

EDIT: It seems there are no talent or attribute boosting altars or potions or anything similar. Those stats can only be boosted by equipment. Which brings up another idea.

Some games have trainers or editors that can edit equipment. Would something like this be possible to add? If there won't be any methods to cheat points without the negative values problem.

I did some looking at the Talent Points and you can absolutely get rid of that message indicating a very large number of points left to spend. I am not sure about skills, or attributes, but I am sure they follow similar suit.

The game calculates Points Spent and then checks that against your against your current level and what you should have so any discrepancy causes that message to pop up in the upper right. You can find this, at least for Talents, by using COSMOS or CE. Use the trainer to add a single point and assign the talent point. You character screen will tell you how many points you have spent, that is what you are searching for. So increase that number 1 at a time, add a talent point, then spend it, search for that new value, until you lock down the values. For me I could not get it below 2 memory addresses so I changed both.

Now that you have those addresses, change the value and actually reduce it to what you should have at your current level. You will not lose the talents that you unlock and when you find the right number for your level you will not see that message in the top right anymore. I am not sure about leveling up nor respec'ing but you could wash-rinse-repeat if needed.

The important thing to note is that you can get rid of that message and I am curious if there is an easy way to amend the trainer to do this or if there is Add Point command in the game that can be initiated to tie it to that rather than alter numbers?

This would work for me. Please let us know if this works without causing problems at level ups.

Leveling up did not cause any issue with Talents. I went from 4-5, was given a point to spend, spent it, and it did not cause the message to propagate in the upper left. Not sure if this will works for skills and attributes, I just did it for Talents so I could have a little bit of a head start and more options to explore when playing the game.

Try save game and reload it or death then reload

I did the same thing when reload the save it always have 1 talent point notification even set total spent to 0

Also the talent gain are every 4 level

I get that you get a Talent Point every 4 levels, that is why I got one at level 5. I have died and reloaded, everything is fine. If you are showing more points still, and have not assigned them, then you are not fixing the Points Spent properly. You have to unlock your Talents, identify the memory addresses for those spent points, figure out what you should have, and adjust it so the game sees the points as being represented properly.

To be exact, for talents it is always going to be 1+1(for every 4th level, i.e Level 5=2, Level 9=3, Level 13=4. Level 17=5, and so on). As I also said I could only get Talents to narrow down to two memory addresses, I changed both. Hope this helps, I can not possibly be more precise I think.

Hi.

I have tried the option with the money but it's not work for me. So I have tried to find the address and i have found an address. I have made a report.
I hope it's help you.

Remark : I am not sure but when i have tried to change the money with the option i think that it adds skill points.

Thank you for this trainer and all your great work.
