Just tried it and launcher and trainer are fine. Ubisoft servers however are complete garbage today, took 5-10 mins just to log-on.
It's most likely your anti-virus blocking it, Make sure trainer/foler its in is excluded from scans and if it has a live/active/real-time scanner included in the software, turn it off.

I've also tried Without ESET Nod32, which means that i've uninstalled the AV (so the pc have no more security/protection functions/products), rebooted, and try the trainer with no AV installed.
Same result.
Verify the game files with the Uplay tool, goto games tab, right click on game and select Verify files. let it run, if it repairs anything, launch the game normally. (no launcher/trainer), go into game then logout and close the game and try the launcher/trainer again.
I did it. Repaired. Normal Launch, log, then quit the game from the menu (return to desktop). Then i've retried launcher when i was logged-on my char, i ran the trainer, pressed F1.
It still self close right after the F1
The process isn't hard. Put the launcher in the same directory as the game, making sure UPLAY is already running. Run the launcher, and it will launch a version of the game. Once the game gets to main menu, you can CLOSE THE GAME.
Next, NO NEED FOR THE LAUNCHER ANY MORE. Run the game (vulkan or whatever) FROM THE UPLAY APP from that point on.
best,
Cal
Yes the process is easy. I used a lot of your trainers on my games, for example no problem With Ghost Recon Wildlands, neither on Terminator resistance which is build on the new trainers's engine.
The launcher and the trainer, are of course, in the game dir. Both were tried in admin mode and in normla mal, both combinations.
I've tried with no AV installed, i've tried with an extra game repair/normal launch/then launcher & trainer test.
All my attempts finished the same way, the trainer self-close right after the activation.
And as i said, when the GRB_NO_BE.exe was still included in the trainer package, that was the last time i've successfully played the game with the trainer. i've done a long pause on this game.
Is there a way to force the trainer to log things to txt, it may help to find what's wrong ?
