Trainer don't work correctly with the "F2: Unlimited Unit Health"
Sometimes it'll give your units unlimited health, sometimes it'll give it to the enemy insted and let you die.
I've tried activating the function at different times, deactivating after my turn, activating when on specific unit etc etc, seems random when what works.
It's especially an issue on missions vs other Human factions.
health is for humans I guess. I didn't play the game 10 hours to see all the factions. With the other options and ability to set health directly, you should be able to easily win each map. If all else fails, there is also instant win in the cheat menu.

I can get the trainer to work, it just won't activate when I press F1. It just says "Please wait.... failed". I don't have the same problem when I use the Borderlands 3 and Outer Worlds trainers (which are excellent btw), both which I also purchased from the Epic Store.
is there any info from the debug tab?

There are two trainers. One for EPIC Phoenix Point, and the other for Phoenix Point Backer Build. Make sure you are using the correct trainer. The latest posted trainer probably won't work for Backer Build.
Also, best to activate at the main menu. Lastly, best to not try other options until you are at the parts of the game where they are able to be used (i.e. unlimited ammo, etc. don't turn on until you are in the combat portion of the game, same for no fatigue, etc.)

I have the Epic Version as I purchased the game from Epic. Interestingly I redownloaded the trainer and this time I got this when it failed:

Once again, I appreciate all the input you guys are giving. Been a big fan of your work for years.
