Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again.

Hey do you need to progress into the story in order for the trainer to work? I keep getting an error about factions when I try to activate the trainer. It says something like "Collect Factions, Script error in line 10: Cannot find aob for 'Collect_Factions'"

I tried manually deleting the files you listed and still ran into the same issue. Then it occured to me to check the game version and it appears Epic sneakily updated the game and I missed it. It's now 1.7.6. I submitted an update request for the trainer.

Thanks, by the way, for the batch file instructions in your other thread. I haven't run into an issue where I need to use it as far as I know, but now I have the batch file handy in case I ever do.

Huh. Just reopened the game itself and it says 1.7.3 EGS on the main menu screen. I don't know if they updated the game and didn't update the info on the main menu or if the version number on Epic is different for some reason.

Either way, I can't get the trainer to work no matter what I try, so I'm at a loss. I guess I'll just play it without cheats like some kind of caveman.

They could have inadvertently updated to the year one edition for people who have all the DLC by mistake, prior to it's upcoming Steam release. Maybe that was where 1.7.6 came from, what that could have done, I have no idea. Try verifying the game files (if epic even has that tool) or uninstalling and re-installing it. I have no way of checking this title.

Tried 3 trainers with patches 1.7
Nothing worked and does not work with 1.8 (
I tried everything that was offered. I really hope this is just me with such problems🤡

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer, extract it and make sure trainer/launcher/editor is in a folder excluded from virus scans. Empty quarantine folder if needed or set anything trainer related (paths and EXE's) to ALLOW. Disable any Live/Active/Real-Time tools which may trigger false positives in security software which may terminate the game/trainer when it's activated or options used. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again.
