I realize this thread was dismissed, but it looks like the latest chrome update is blocking all downloads from CH. Just an FYI, because I'm sure this will be an issue you'll see more of as the update is pushed out.

You can disable the Chrome security settings, i have no issues here with chrome.

Same here no issues with chrome on the website or download functions.

The problem is that "Fuery" a Remote access trojan virus has been found in many of the latest trainers that i've downloaded, according to Mcfee, Windows Defender and Norton atleast, don't own any others AVs.

This promt blocking chains to go around the web for all software that has with security to do and will target this site since it is the source.

If this site don't want people to be blocked from downloading they have to do a better job screening the trainers.

There is nothing we can do that can prevent Google or anyone else from blocking our trainers. It's not like we're not trying or adding in virus laden material on purpose. We even went through the trouble of digitally signing each download that is custom made in order to try and avoid these false positives. We have jumped through every hoop possible and at this point can do nothing more than suggest people get a better browser, disable the security measures that are falsely blocking our downloads or get a better AV product with less intrusive false positive detection.

We have ZERO control over the detection of AVs. We report as many false positives as we can. We also started recently signed our trainers, which is quite expensive. It helps a bit but it does not guarantee anything. It got worse the more AVs are using some "machine learning" algorithm which decides completely itself if something should be flagged or not.

Recently one of a popular tool on Github (starred by 16k people, which is way beyond the average) got flagged. An OPEN SOURCE tool. The author has reported the false positive but they completely ignored him.

It shows how crazy, unreliable and stupid AVs behave and how less we (software authors) can do. If you can tell us how we should do a better job on screening the trainers, please let us know. Otherwise, believe me if I am saying we did all we can and its still not enough and therefore the criticism should go to the AV companies.

I figured out how to work around this; just press CTRL+J to bring up a list of all your downloads, then choose "keep anyway" next to the file that Chrome refused to download.

It's frustrating that the error message at the bottom of the browser window doesn't give this option and only lets you choose "discard," but this is a super easy workaround!

Thanks to the guys at CH for all the hard work, and I hope this tip helps someone. 🙂

Just to report that Firefox version 78 is now also blocking CH downloads by default, a "Deceptive Content and Dangerous Software Protection" feature has been added to it.

It can be disabled by going to the privacy & security section of Firefox's settings. No whitelisting option that I can see, which means an all or nothing approach for now. I've filled in a form asking them to remove CH downloads from auto-blocks, though it might take multiple submissions before they do something about it.

Please let us know where to fill out this form so we can direct all of our users to do so and hopefully get taken off this ridiculous blacklist.
