If you use the crafting option for upgrading/unlocking the slots on the guns it will give you both the old gun, and the new gun with the unlocked slots. This will eventually break the UI when all the guns are unlocked/upgraded, because you can only select the guns with one slot available. It's fine to use the crafting option on unlocking a new form of the gun, just avoid it when upgrading it.
Also, to fix the issue if you encounter it use mission select to reset your campaign to your latest mission. That will reset the UI, and get rid of duplicate weapons.

I know they were not included originally, but the options seems to have been updated on the trainer page, but they don't appear in the trainer?
