The trainer is up to date with the game, the latest version of .NET is installed, but every time I try to launch my No Man's Sky trainer I get an error saying I need to update my .NET Frameworks and then it just closes. I'm not sure what to do now. I've launched it as Admin as well and nothing seems to work and I can't find anything to help.

I have similar problem with Underrail. I have newest version of .Net Frameworks installed, I've downloaded latest trainer, but the game crashes after a minute or two of playing.

    Information: 0 : Trainer version: 1.7
Information: 0 : Trainer is up to date.

The problem is I have checked it before posting - I have the most updated version of .NET Frameworks & Core Runtime. Even with that, the game crashes after using trainer.

The issue you have means. that the trainer was written at a time when the game was running on an older .NET Framework version. Since your .NET Framework is newer, it can be the case that the generated code has changed and therefore it fails or crashes the game.

You will have to verify you followed the instructions carefully. These games also require you DO something before you can activate the trainer or an option. If you verified you did everything as instructed, you can only submit a trainer update request in such a case.

I've actually had this happen on the new Greedfall Trainer. I just installed a fresh copy of Win10 a week ago. Core 2.2.6 is already installed. Framework 4.8 was not installed so I installed that next. My specific case the trainer still asks for those runtimes despite them being installed (run as admin). I cleared software distribution folder for Win10 as it has had issues with updates before on various machines. I ran SFC and CHKDSK. DISM was run as well for any corruption in the system files. No other games or trainers were installed on the machine as of yet. Win10 issue for sure. There are more options I could try like cleaning the registry via CCleaner or the like. What ended up working for me was repairing the 2.2 runtime. I attempted this and failed once already (error). I restarted a couple times in the process of finding the issue and trying the repair eventually worked a second time. Friggin MS is a joke of a company. CH guys can't do much of anything about that so keep that in mind.

The dependencies are a problem especially because as of now now the trainer has two. In the near future the trainer will only have one anymore and depending on Microsoft maybe even none in the far future (there are a lot of promising announcements from Microsoft but we will have to see what it ends with. At the moment a dependency-free trainer would consume around ~60-100mb which is too much but we will check out all possibilities as soon as something has changed).
