AFAIK there are some lurkers here and there and watch what games get cheats and maybe why do we love to cheat. Even some of my gaming buddies ask me this when I tell them about this site.
It is often about
haha, they are to weak for the challeng
or
You are a loser if you want to use cheat and cheatcodes.
As a gamer in my mid 40s playing games since the 8 bit era of the Atari 2600, C64, NES, Sega Master System I am telling you that CHEATS are part of the gaming communities since 35 years. The C64 got that famous Action Replay Cartridge.
Back in the 80s we used to freeze a program or game with a button of the cartridge to pause and halt the computer so that we could manipulatr the time-frozen state of the computer memory. That enabled unlimited lifes and ammo etc.
So the DEMAND to cheat is almost 40 years old in computer games games, and even the consoles like Super Nintendo got that cartridges to hack the memory.
It was a business model to sell cheat/freez enabling hardware moduls, decades ago.
Cheat Happens offers Software as a Service, because the DEMAND is still there to play games and cheat.
But why?
It is simple as that: If I like playing games solo without limitations and without grinding, without stress and frustration and without obstacles to enjoy
1.) The Gameplay
2.) The Mechanics
3.) The audiovisual Atmosphere/Immersion of the Graphcis/Music/Sound/Design
please allow this dear devs. Don't force an online only mode to prevent playing games solo.
Because I will NOT buy ANY of your games in the furute if you don't!
I am surely no threat but as a gamer with disposable income to spend 1000 Euro every year for games I will ONLY support devs and studios (hence: their games) that build games where I can use a Cheat Happens trainer afterwards.
So no, it is less about beeing to weak or avoiding the challenge, but cutting down the (sometimes stupid amounts) of time to grind or finding shortcuts instead of sinking 20 hours to play as the devs force me to.
Dishonored, the new Tomb Raider Games, the New Doom, The Wolfenstein franchise, the Deus Ex games, Quantum Break, Witcher 3, GTA V, Just Cause 4, Metro Exodus were alles superb games with an incredible experience.
But I enjoyed them so much BECAUSE of Cheat Happens to play with my pace, my style, to try out some mechanics and just to explore the games in god mode.
I appreciate the game design, the levels, the immersion even more while not having to care about my ammo or gathering mterial for hours to buils my new wepons etc.
So, dear Developers and Game Directors, just allow Single Player and Offline Modes (where it makes sense, we DO NOT want Multiplayer cheats, never wanted!) for our community that loves to BUY and play your games without limitations.
That is the way an oldschool gaming veteran from the 80s loves to play.
Thanks for your time to read this And thanks Cheat Happens for your amazing service.
