While the trainer was giving me fits before the last update, I decided to look into save game editing. It turns out that save editing is VERY easy in this game. The save files can be found in:

..\Steam\userdata\[your Steam ID]\673950\remote\Farms\

The .DATA files are actually gzip files. I use 7zip to open them. The file inside is plain text. As long as you use an editor that doesn't add any extra formatting when saving, you should be able to use just about anything. Here are a few of the editable items I found most helpful:

Money:Coins:110911973,Bills:29045,Medals:2626,Tickets:2589 - Your currencies. You won't see any in the list that you have not unlocked yet, so a fresh farm will just have Coins and Bills (diamonds).

Weather:0 - Don't feel like putting down 1 million sprinklers? Change this value to 1 after every season change, and you'll never have to water again

QuestItem:"AnimalRabbitBrown",QuestAmount:150,QuestProgress:48 - The quest item requirements for each quest are listed this way. You can easily change the QuestProgress to quickly finish those pesky animal quests

RewardMoney:Medals:6,RewardExperience:2760 - Found in the quests section, the rewards for each quest are recorded in the save when the quest is given. These rewards can be modified, as the game does not validate them when you finish the quest. It just gives you what the save file claims you are supposed to get.

Id:"CropCarrot",Experience:Level:50,Progress:307 - Easily change the level of any harvestable item. You will need to have harvested at least one of the item before it will show up in the save file to be edited.

There is also an account-level save file that can be edited. Make sure to escape out to the splash screen. If you are at the menu, the game will have this file locked and editing will not do anything.

In the parent REMOTE folder, open up the Farms file. It is a gzip file just like the saves. You can tweak your level and experience, but the best thing is you can change your bonus time.

"Effort":"Value":0 - Changing this value to 3000 will give you around 50 minutes of bonus time.
