For what it's worth, if the trainer is running in the background at any point when the game is running, no achievements will pop. It looks like they have added some detection for it, but still allow the trainer. It doesn't stop the trainer from working at any rate.
I had the clean lap achievement pop this morning well running the trainer, I know there is a few achievements that are still bugged that arnt popping for a lot of people like the around the world one and weekend warrior
Hey CH crew, I don't know if this is on my end or not but when I have downloaded this trainer and open the file the trainer is not in there but the readme is, just wanna give you guys a heads up if this is something on your end.
Try to download it again. This happens when you take too long to download the file. Close your internet browser, and try again from zero. Works everytime for me!

Something on your end is deleting the .exe, likely AV, firewall or other security software.
