Anno 1800 Message Board  

Hi guys. I am enjoying the game so far, but I am having trouble with something. I keep getting low workforce message, is there anything I can do about that? I have tried building more houses/farms, but that doesn't seem to be helping much if any. I am still on first island. Any thoughts and help appreciated

Don't upgrade all houses. You need a great balance of all kind of house types. You need stupid as well as intelligent people. Whenever something requires a specific amount of a specific house type it's usually shown in the info popup. For example it says it needs 1500 artisan. Then you need to upgrade or downgrade enough houses to artisan residences.
