as expected, the game is re-compiled into 64 bit... so basically.. a complete do over. the notes won’t help except to tell you what ‘type’ some values were, and likely the saves don’t cross over. so this is a time sink since you have to play the game for several hours to ‘progress’

Borderlands GOTY Enhanced just means, recompiled in 64 bit with new netcode and ability to have large/64 bit textures. Unforunately, the 64 bit architecture opcodes are completely new so the game is a do over.

This won't be a 'quick' release, and it may not even have that many options right off the bat. These 'enhanced' releases are a cash grab if you ask me, as the gameplay is no different.

It might help to have saves (if they work) and where they go, so I don't have to play this game 100 hours to get to stuff.

So I have done a few tests, and you can import your characters from the original Borderlands, with all the levels, quests, skills, money, etc. at the same point as when you stopped playing.

I'd attach my save for it, but I deleted most of my saves quite some time ago, and the only one I have left is a level 20 siren, still in the zone before beating Sledge.

Here are some saves, my current level 23 hunter and my level 69 hunter. The 69 hunter is an import from the org game.

Here's another save. Imported character from original. Can upload a new character from remaster if needed but it won't be too far into the game.

As for filepath: Documents\My Games\Borderlands Game of the Year\Binaries\SaveData was where I found mine

My old character saves were able to Port over with no problem. And This is pretty much Borderlands running in the Borderlands 2 code. Golden Chest, Golden Keys, head swapping, etc.

As for a cash grab, I received the game for free because I already had Borderlands GOTY. So people who already had the original with expansions don't have to pay for a new version. At least on Steam.

I just wanted to know if its me or something is wrong with the trainer, ever since the trainer manager got updated these new style trainers wont show up on my screen my resident evil 2 remake trainer would show on my screen but now it wont and this trainer wont and iv tried the suggestions to get it to work but nothing any help would be nice. PS- all the trainers work but just thos 2 wont show on my screen.

Try resetting the manager.
