I have noticed with the newer trainers I have no sound when using options or hitting F1. I am not sure if it's me or the trainers but it really is odd for me compared to the old ones.

Using the most up to date .net core, .net and windows 10.

My specs are a usb headset of a Hyper X cloud 2.

Intel i5 8400 @ 2.3
32gb DDR4 ram @2400
Nvidia GTX 1070.

Did you verify if the speakers are on in Windows Volume mixer? 🤔

Yes lol. I also was able to confirm I get sound from the older trainers. I do hear "trainer cannot find game" in the older trainers.

I also tried a test in the settings menu of the new trainers to no avail for either male or female.

All the (new) trainers i have tested so far all worked fine. so maybe one of the trainer makers has an idea.

Have you tried desktop speakers instead of the headset to see if it makes a difference? The new template may not be able to detect your sound card properly.

The new trainer template uses windows APIs to play sound. I know this problem but it's not related to the trainer itself, sadly I always forgot how to fix it.

You can try running the windows 10 troubleshooting for audio, perhaps it takes care of it.

Windows Api as in windows media player? Mine has been broken for the longest time. I have no way of installing it. That may explain it.

Edit: Okay so I went ahead and tried my speakers. No go. I checked off "Use text to speech" and I hear sound when that is enabled. So I'll just keep that setting on I guess.

I've got no sound from the Far Cry New Dawn trainer. I haven't had any other applications with sound issues, only the new trainer.
