Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Message Board  

Quick update here (tried to edit my last post but the forums didn't like something about the format), I also attempted to share my save file with some other folks elsewhere and apparently this is one of those games where there's account info encoded to the saves that makes it usable only by the steam account it's associated with.
In other words without some file editing skills I don't possess, no one else could use my save games anyway. Sorry guys.

If anyone ever figures out how to get someone else's complete-game save file to work w/ Steam version of AC7, I'd love to find out. I've not been able to get past mission 5, even with the (new update's) casual mode. I wish the DEVs would have included a free flight for every mission in casual mode. I'd love to fly through the other mission areas to see what's what. But, since I cant get past mission 5: no-go.

I wrote this 3 years ago! Has ANYONE figured out how to et a complete-game save (SP only) to work with a Steam profile? I gave up on this game 3 years ago since I couldn't get past level 5. I just want to use free flight mode on every level for the scenery....but have no hope of getting past level 5. Or, is there perhaps a cheat the CH folks could program in (FOR SINGLE PLAYER, not multi-player of course) to allow free flight for ALL levels? I asked for this years ago, but since it's an old game I"m sure it's not a priority anymore.
