Animals and items have been reported that they sadly don't work. You can exchange a resource to it but you cannot equip that item to a building / zoo so I've removed them.
I had never tried this because there were no description on the specialists items/people. Now there is, but, im still confused. I need to have 1 item, say.. wood, on first slot of the ship, pause the game, alt tab to editor and select one of the people (now available) and transfer to port. Is this correct? Had a few crashes but i guess is because i was selecting 50 items (ex. wood <> people) When you say, on the quoted msg, items can´t be used, you mean i should forget about this edit mode or is it working with items on the editor list? I've opened the game files and found the ID's and possibly even more info that I can’t comprehend, if that can be of any help to get items working? Quick fix would be to make so we can put our own ID’s/numbers in the trainer to test what works or not, I could show the whole code but that would make this comment huge, I cut out some parts I think might be useful as examples.

I've seen the item IDs but they are 100% identical to mine and it still doesn't work. For any reason you cannot use the cheated animals or items, but resources are working fine.
