It will be releasing in a few hours and im super Psyched! It is going to be a stand alone title, and not a DLC, so im wondering if we should be requesting an update here or a whole new trainer page for it. I don't see the title on the requests page or in the trainer Queue anywhere, so I am wondering where to keep an eye out for the trainer in the next couple days. Any insight will be welcome.

To be fair, the devs had been touting it as a DLC, not a fully separate game.

I actually requested it yesterday, but it never showed up on either requests or trainer queue page. Thats why I made this thread to see if anyone else had some insight.

Takes a few people to get a request added to the funding list. I added mine when I saw it wasn't DLC today.

Everything I have seen shown it as a sep game as its a new chapter. Its a whole new game.

Same planet, different location, expansion. Those words used quite a bit make it sound like an expansion, not a new game. Also, months of news updates on the Subnautica page and if you didn't read every exact word, it's easy to miss that it's standalone, not an expansion, and is a new game.

Clearly, this is not an isolated case of being confused.

Well, on the bright side, the console cheats from the original Subnautica are working on this one too, so theres that. It will do for now.
