After a ton of testing, I can confirm that the Ultimate Collection trainer works fine with the Steam and Origin versions of this game. Please use this trainer:

I can concur that the ultimate version works, this should be made a sticky so it stays on top, mods please make this a sticky

It don't work with Steam with Version 1.9.2801.21826 😕

It don't work with Steam with Version 1.9.2801.21826 😕

I just re-installed the latest version on Steam. The trainer was tested and works fine with this title. Something on your end is most likely causing it to fail.

As of late, I discovered the same thing. The 1.09 trainer wasn't working for me on a new ASUS gaming laptop with windows 10. I didn't work on ant of the versions,, Steam/Retail/ect,, From this thread I discovered the Ultimate C&C Package trainer for this particular game works with "ALL" versions. I even pulled out the ole install disc. Installed it,, patched it, and the trainer worked flawless. So I would recommend heading over to the link Asylum posted for your C&C3 trainer needs.

Newest 1.09 trainer doesn't work but C&C Ultimate trainer is working very well.

I'm running the origin version of the game. Everything looks right when I run the trainer, but nothing happens when I try using the Shift A,B,C. Any further suggestions?
