My method is to change the health value in the editor tab to something crazy, like hitting a couple of 2s or 3s in front of default, then locking the health. When I enter a room, my health is locked to that value, and I then unlock the health, switch over to the trainer section rather than have the editor tab open, and progress through that way. The enemies have their own default health, and mine stays at very high values until a health pickup or a heal hits me. This method does not work well with abilities and 'house upgrades' that give you constant heals.
