I know I'm missing something simple but when I go to change faction relations I can't add anything to the right column. Is that because I haven't found them in game yet? I would swear that when i have killed pirates in the system it says i get a bonus to argon and teladi so I am a little confused. Thanks

You cannot add anything to the right list under relationships. In fact there is nothing to add. It only lists all known relationships from other factions to the player. If a faction is missing then the faction has no relationship to the player yet (needs to be discovered by player first ingame?).

If REALLY want to add something open the raw savegame and search for:

faction id="ABC

where abc is the name of the faction. Then copy a relationship entry below and change the related to faction to player or another faction.

my trainer just keeps telling my invailid game save dont know how that can be possible but help from anyone would be great also if this is suppose to be v3 why does the trainers say v 1.2 ?

somehow... if i add a license the license does not appear to be valid and discarded after loading the savegame... also what is the max value for relation ship? 1? i have set all to 3 and still my reputation does not allow me to buy licenses or whatsoever.

help appreciated.

perhaps you are not adding the correct license.

using Argon faction for example, the military license is separate from the police license, which is also separate from the station advancedd / intermetiate license, etc...

depending on what you want to buy, you need to add the correct license, before the NPC lets you buy the blueprints or weapons, or war ships.

The poing is, it works, because I just did all of the above using this Editor.
