    Btw. just to help sb. here, whenever you find yourself in a situation that the savegame editor is not to your liking in matters of inventory, you can of course proceed as follows:

    - gunzip* the relevant save file
    - search** in the xml file the string:

    - go down a bit until you see
    - here you can add your inventory just as you like
    - gzip the xml again using gzip in Powershell:
    like C:\Program Files (x86)\GnuWin32\bin> .\gzip.exe C:\Users\$user\Documents\Egosoft\X4\save\save_001.xml

    * gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/gzip.htm
    ** Ultraedit 32 is recommended
