I bought the Ultimate Edition of this game and was excited about the money in this trainer. I passed the intro and then used the money cheat. I then restarted the game without the trainer and within a few hours I got the "your gamertag has been banned" bs. Lol. Luckily I also have a XBOX One X and used my other hotmail account just to see if it too would be banned. To my surprise....no ban. I thought I had waisted 140 cash. I haven't tried to create a new microsoft account on my pc yet. So if you don't mind to play this game with a console on a new account then go for it.

Yeah it seems that the Credit cheat is the obvious most risky "bet" you take to survive the banhammer.
I would recommend using freeze/spin options only in SP races, it nets you more credits "legit" this way, and you earn TONS of Credits and Cars anyway just by playing.

Has anyone be banned by only using the freeze option, and possibly the bunny jump to skill point farm method?

Also in order to get access to online features again, you need a new HDD, new fresh windows install.

Once you get your new hdd set up, your account set up and play, DONT log into your banned account at all. If you do, even though you did not cheat on new account you will get banned again. So if you can get a new HDD, new account, just use that, and never swap to old banned account ever again.

After reaching out to their support, to see if they would unban me, they gave me a very interesting response. Take a look:

This account and its associated Windows PC were issued permanent suspensions from Forza Horizon 4 for the use of unauthorized modification tools to obtain a large amount of/maximum credits, scoring, and/or wheelspins. Should any account attempt to access Forza Horizon 4 via the banned device, it will become locked from all non-strictly single player content.

Cheating disrupts the gaming experience for other players and diminishes their hard work and dedication. Developers work extremely hard to publish quality Turn 10 Studios’ and Playground Games titles, and players play hard to enjoy them. To ensure that players continue to have a positive experience, we cannot allow cheating in any form. Due to the severity of the violation, we can no longer trust the account or it’s associated PCs on Forza Horizon 4.

Furthermore, upon account creation, the Microsoft Code of Conduct is read and accepted, thus ensuring us that our players are aware of the potential repercussions for breaking the rules set in place by said document.

Please note that further behavior of this type will result in more stringent enforcement action, up to and including further permanent suspension of accounts and/or associated PCs and consoles.

Now if you read this, u can figure out on your own, what they look for to ban you, and how to avoid a ban.

Since they said that your account would "become locked from all non-strictly single player content" has that been your experience in that you're banned only from MP but not strictly SP content?

That is correct, i can still play all content that has no multiplayer aspect to it. All races, missions etc. I can still buy cars from the shop, use the wheelspins.
But i cannot do any skins, tunes, or blueprints from other players, nor use the auction house.

However after watching my tv show, i am gonna follow these steps:

I got 30 year ban for using CoSMOS modding in credits.

I can confirm it is a hwid or really... A OS install + Xbox live account ban into forza server list. It's not truly a hwid ban if you reinstall windows using same hw and it will work.

1) windows + cheating account banned first. I tried changing IP, using VPN, install new hardware like a new ssd as secondary drive. Nothing worked.
2) windows + new Xbox live account, same Microsoft store/windows account since this is the account that paid for the game. I didn't see the banned from the forza messages but i had IPSEC error connecting to their servers. They're actively preventing you from joining things like forzathon/auction house/livery/tunes downloads
3) new window installation + new Xbox account as above, the ban carried over. Now your new install is tainted and added to the IPSEC blocks. I even registered another xbox live account and played through prologue and still got ipsec blocks.

4) I reinstalled windows another time, a third new Xbox live account, never touch the two old account, and I've been playing online for 2+ months now.

So if you get banned, just reinstall fresh windows, use original Microsoft store account, sign out of cheated xbox live accounts and register a new one.

Others confirmed that to be working. I will also make sure, i will install the game on my external harddrive, not on my c drive again. However i have to make sure, all data in regards to banned account is removed, including save files etc.
