This demo is supposed to be short, and there is no final game planned for years!?

As of today at 1 PM EST, Forager was released on Steam, Itch.io, and will be released on Nintendo Switch next week {Delay due to new Switch update}.

people need to use the system to request a trainer. Its not listed on the trainer credits or trainer request board to assign.

It has been requested properly. On the main Forager trainer page, the request has been fully funded for a while now:

I can only guess that either that person is a troll, or they misread something, or they got a little too into their 420 fun and just got confused, because it was definitely there and been fully funded for a couple of days now.
