As I've seen only two times before - but the option to add or "set" skill points seems to break the game. After setting your skill points using 9 - after every level you gain past that point gives you no skill points. I've gone a few levels and no skill points.
I'm not sure if the game verifies character level to used or "alotted" skill points each start up. Like maybe the game sees "well your character is level 5 but you have 15 skill points".
The game verifies level to skill points (+ any stele's (+1 skill per) you have interacted with.
It's easy to fix: Just reset your skills in the skill tree. If you gave yourself 9, but are level 5 it will reset to 4 skill points available.
Problem isnt the trainer - the number you add (say 5) to the above example would mean you would start naturally getting skill points again at level 10.
has anyone noticed if they have the trainer on, that NPCs randomly die and halt the game's progress?! ive restarted the game four times.....stuck in Athens
I have the same problem, in the Mission "A night to remember" Barnabas is dead and I can't finish this Mission.
It's the same when I load a old save without the trainer.
