Can you confirm you followed the Readme's Instructions?

"Numpad 9: Set Ability Points - enter the abilities page and
note your ability points count. Press this to set it
to the value shown in the trainer. You may have to leave
and come back to see it has changed."

The trainer is inconsistent in applying the modifications; my money and hides go to 999999, but the rest don't; only sometimes, in the middle of playing, it suddenly shows a million items of everything. Then next game play, it won't increase anything.
The ability points have never worked; changed the values, only activated that cheat, went in and out of menus, but it never increased abilities even 1 point.
Also, a couple of times I've hit Num . (period/del) and gotten instantly teleported to the sky over the ocean and then I fall into it.
Other than those, it seems to work ok.

So I got the trainer to overcome one challenge that I was unable to complete, Medusa. PC controls are not really as good as a pad and i have none, so after 10 attempts I went here and got the trainer, I have an subscription so it was kinda no brainer. I like the game a lot, and wanted to continue playing.

After completing Medusa I fell in to the temptation to max out my ship. So I cheated the resources, i really only needed obsidian glass, the rest I had, but well... so the counters went up to 999999 and I did the upgrades and saved. Again, I had a lot of resources and gold beforehand. however, when starting the game a day later or so, all my resources were down to zero. I had expected them to be 999999, minus what I used, or at the very least what i had before using the Trainer. But no. Zero.

Am I doomed to play with the trainer for resources now? Can I do something else about it, edit a file perhaps? 😐

Sadly the counter reset does happen every time you use the free upgrades option. You could use CosMOS to scan for each resource counter and restore them back to any value you want.

ok, thanks I'll do that, or try...

So I kinda got a workaround. Increasing the amount of gold and with that buying other needed resources from vendors.
Gold amount was persistent between sessions so it solved the original problem and no need to use the trainer for now.
