Cheaters bans from SCUM on General Discussions Message Board - Page 1

Up until now we have banned more than 5 000 people, and also did some hardware bans. SCUM will be a zero tolerance zone for cheaters. We are also working on some new ways to battle cheaters including possible region locks.

This is how to handle it. If people want games they can mod and enjoy while offline, then they should be able to do it. If the developers are going to ban people for playing offline with mods, then get a refund and move on.. especially if they are asking you to PAY to be their bug finders, and quality control. It amazes me year after year people are caught up in early access, completely oblivious that they are being used to fund a game and are PAYING to find bugs for the developers.. are these games REALLY that amazing, that you want to pay money to fix them?

I agree with you on this @Caliber. It makes no sense to me. That's why I never play games in beta nor do I buy early access games. Give me the completed product, not a work in progress one lol. And I hate games that have cheat detections in offline mode and single player. Players should have the freedom to play how they want to offline. If not what's the point of it all.
